Nutrition logs, including food items, calories, and macronutrients you record through the app.
Weight logs you choose to enter over time.
Goals and preferences you configure, such as calorie targets, protein targets, and fitness objectives.
Coaching interactions, meaning the messages you send to and receive from the AI coach.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide personalized AI coaching tailored to your goals and logged data.
Enable core platform functionality, including nutrition tracking and progress views.
Manage your account, including authentication and session handling.

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

AI Usage Disclosure

Caleris uses artificial intelligence to generate fitness and nutrition coaching responses. These responses are generated by large language models and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your individual circumstances. AI-generated content is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare provider, registered dietitian, or certified fitness professional.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure, which provides encrypted storage and access controls. Some data (such as food logs and goals) may also be stored locally in your browser via localStorage. We take reasonable precautions to protect the data you entrust to us.

Data Sharing

Caleris does not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your information with advertisers. We may share data with infrastructure providers (such as Supabase and OpenAI) solely to operate the service, and only to the extent necessary.

Cookies & Analytics

Caleris uses essential cookies required for authentication, session security, and basic application functionality. These cookies allow you to sign in, stay signed in across pages, and access account-protected features. They are set by our authentication provider (Supabase) and are necessary for core account functionality and secure access to Caleris.

Caleris does not currently use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or behavioral analytics tools. We do not build advertising profiles, monitor your behavior across websites, apps, or devices, or share your activity with third-party advertisers.

If Caleris begins using non-essential cookies or analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy and provide a clear way for you to give or withhold consent where required by applicable law before those technologies are activated.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure of your information.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon a valid request, we will remove your personal information from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations to retain it.

Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain your personal data for as long as your Caleris account remains active so we can provide personalized coaching, progress tracking, historical insights, and related app features.

If you delete your account, we begin removing account-related personal data from our active systems, including profile information, goals, nutrition logs, workout logs, weigh-ins, daily logs, and coaching-related records.

Like most modern SaaS applications, limited backup copies may remain in secure backups for a short period after deletion. These backups are retained only for system recovery, security, and continuity purposes and are not used to provide active product features. Backup copies are typically deleted or overwritten within 30 days.

We may retain limited information when necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce our agreements, or maintain the security and integrity of Caleris.
